After having successfully launched skin care clinics in Bandra and Juhu, now it’s South Mumbai’s turn to experience good skin. To celebrate the launch of Gorgeous Skin Care clinic, at Peddar Road,  Dr Purnima Mhatre co hosted  a party along with Mrs Neetu Kapoor Singh and Mrs. Shaina NC at Magic, Worli, tonight  to celebrate the same. The guest included Vidya Malavade who looked beautiful in a pretty pink gown, very elegant Riddhima Kapoor, Dr Hrishikesh Pai, along with his wife Dr Rishma Dhillon Pai, Dr Nandita Palshetkar, Dr Sandesh Mayekar, Jaywantiben Mehta, Pinky Roshan,  Nitish Bharadwaj along with his wife, Kiran Shantaram and his wife, Alka Yagnik, Jaspinder Nirula all walked in to congratulate Dr Purnima on her new venture.

On location club song from Kabir Sadanand’s new  film ‘Tum Milo Toh Sahi’,  … The club song was picturised on Suniel Shetty, Vidya Malvade and Tanishaa Mukherjee who is doing a guest appearance in the film. The film stars Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Suniel Shetty, Vidya Malvade, Rehaan Khan, Anjana Sukhani, Mohnish Behl and in a special appearance has Tanishaa and Raghav Sachhar. The song was picturised at  Sutra, Hotel Intercontinental, Sahar, Mumbai on 20th August 2008.

The feminine beauty Vidya Balan dressed in an ensemble and jewellery by Priya & Chintan and will be joining them to walk the ramp in NewYork. Other models will be Jesse Randhawa, Sheetal Malhar, Tapur Chaterjee and Nethra Raghuraman.

Vidya is on a roll with ‘Munnabhai Lage Raho’, ‘Eklavya’, ‘Guru’, ‘Salaam–E-Ishq’ and now two more movies in her kitty. Priyadarshan has signed her for a movie titled ‘Chandramukhi’ no guys it’s not a sequel of Sridevi’s ‘Chandramukhi’, but the remake of the Tamil superhit starrer Rajnikant. And that’s not the end of it as Vidya’s movie based on the life of controversial Painter Raja Ravi Verma is titled ‘Suryamukhi’; the movie is to be directed by Shaji Karun and produced by Bobby Bedi and is the same one that was offered to Madhuri Dixit. So we guess our ‘Pairneeta’ Lolita is going to balance the hot and the cold by playing Suryamukhi and Chandramukhi, hopefully no reason for us to get ‘dukhi’

Pulling leg or playing some pranks on co-actors is not a new element on the Bollywood shooting floors. Either to have fun or to chill few moments, actors do follow the unruly acts on their mundane schedules. But guess, what’s new should have happened this time? It’s Shahid playing a prank on his long time buddy and colleague Vishal Malhotra. The team of Kismat Konnection was busy canning at the community center in Toronto. After quite a few shots Vishal Malhotra, who is playing Shahid’s friend in Kismat Konnection, thought his shoot for the day was complete and he got off for his hotel room. As soon as Vishal left for the hotel, the director, Aziz Mirza, decided on going for another angle on the actor who was already in his hotel, situated at ten minutes distance from the shooting location. Crew of the film informed Aziz that Vishal had already left and there came the naughty boy Shahid out in his mischievous mood. He called up Vishal and in a tensed tone informed him how the director is upset about him leaving the floor without completing the shoot. Vishal immediately got trapped and running left the hotel. On the other hand Shahid told everyone on the set that they should act upset about Vishal. Tension for Vishal went on building further up. He reached the set and all kept a stern look on him. Even, Vidya applied another layer to the prank by congratulating Vishal on his achieving such a ‘star’ status. Ultimately Rameshji came there and gave the joke away as he couldn’t rein over his laughter. Immediately Vishal realized how his leg had been pulled by everyone on the set. “I can't believe I actually fell for it. They all held up well, ” relieved Vishal opined, “Thank god for Rameshji who gave the joke away. Thank God! I was so nervous. Shahid and I have known each other from Ishq Vishk days and we keep pulling these wise one on others but never expected him to pull this one on me.” But it seemed like the matter didn’t end up as it looked like. “Look out Shahid I owe you one, ” concludes Vishal throwing a chance of getting the entire issue back to Shahid.

Post his break up with Bebo, Shahid is hitting the headlines yet once again. Thanks to his latest affair with Vidya Balan! Everyone is talking about it, but no one knows how it all started. Contrary to many believes that it was Shahid who was on a rebound and found solace in Vidya’s arms, it was Vidya who took initiative and got something flowing between them. It was on the sets of Kismat Konnection in Canada. They had never met each other or interacted before. Upon that, they were supposed to shoot an extra intimate romantic scene. Needless to say, both were nervous and not at ease at all. A birdie from the sets reveals, "Shahid is an introvert and takes time to open up to people. The unit was worried because Vidya and Shahid had never met each other before. Worst it was the first day of the shoot and the scene to be shot was a romantic one." But then our Vidya is one hell of a girl. She decided that enough is enough and she is going to break the ice between the both. "Vidya just walked up to Shahid. "Autograph please, " she said placing an autograph book before him. The move took Shahid by complete surprise and he broke into laughter. The scenario changed completely. The atmosphere suddenly seemed warm and friendly. And what's more the romantic scene was okayed in just one take, " the source adds. Vidya confirmed the incident saying, "Shahid and I had not known each other. He stood aloof and so did I. I decided to break the ice and begged for his autograph. An embarrassed Shahid did not know where to look. We have turned good friends since then." Just good friends! We wonder if everyone is lying about them.

Vidya ko gussa kyun aata hai?? Well….kyunki, Vidya hates to be compared to Bebo. While the character Vidya plays in Kismet Konnection has a resemblance with Kareena Kapoor’s character of Geet in Jab we Met, Vidya seriously hates it when people try mentioning this similariy to her. “You may have found similarities in our characters but I have played it quite in a different way. Priya is much different from Geet and they cannot be compared,” says Vidya teying very hard not to lose her temper.
